A Legacy Rooted in Hamel
The Hamel community has been an important part of the Fortin family’s history for more than a century. Across four generations, the family has operated several Hamel‑based businesses, including:
- Fortin Consulting
- Hamel Electric
- Fortin Hardware Store (est. 1919 — a local landmark)
This deep history makes Hamel not just our location, but our family’s home.
Directly behind our clinic sits one of the most meaningful landmarks in the community: the Paul Fortin Memorial Field, named in honor of Jason’s grandfather. Jason — Dr. Brenda Fortin’s husband — grew up in this community, and the field stands as a tribute to the Fortin family’s long‑standing presence, service, and legacy in Hamel. Having the field just steps away is a daily reminder of the generations of connection that continue to shape our commitment to this community.
With such strong roots, we are passionate about serving the families who live here and carrying forward a legacy built on integrity, hard work, and community involvement.
Our Philosophy
At Fortin Chiropractic Clinic, we believe in:
- Gentle, effective chiropractic care for all ages
- Treating each patient as a whole person
- Taking time to listen and understand your needs
- Providing honest, personalized recommendations
- Supporting long‑term health and wellness
- Creating a warm, small‑town atmosphere where patients feel at home
Patients often tell us that what sets us apart is how deeply we care — and how much time we take to help them feel better and stay well.
Our Providers
Our clinic is proud to have two chiropractors — both members of the Fortin family — providing care to our community. As a family with four generations rooted in Hamel, our doctors share the same commitment to patient‑centered, family‑focused wellness. Each brings unique strengths, advanced training, and a genuine passion for serving the west metro.

Community Involvement
We believe in giving back to the community that has supported our family for generations. The clinic actively participates in:
- Local community events
- Charitable initiatives
- Hamel Business activities
Our team is also involved in professional organizations, including the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, and contributes to chiropractic education through Northwestern Health Sciences University.
