Pediatric Chiropractic Care

If you are reading this, you likely already know about the advantages of chiropractic treatment for adults and are interested in learning whether it is safe for children as well. The good news is that chiropractic is incredibly safe for children, and much safer than pain medication or cough syrup! In fact, Dr. Brenda Fortin has been very successful in treating pregnant women, at birth, newborns & infants, toddlers & preschoolers, grade-schoolers & preteens, teenagers and young adults as she specializes in pediatric care.

Can a Child be Adjusted?

Yes, however, no two people are alike, so we do not use a cookie-cutter program where everyone gets the same treatment and technique. In fact, Chiropractic care for children is different in technique than it is for adults.

Tailored to their experience with chiropractic for first-timers. Age, weight and prior conditions all play into the equation where most adjustments require pressure as light as a handshake. In some cases, adjustments are administered via an activator tool, which eases the transition and is a simpler, yet effective way to adjust.

Why Choose Us?
